Come along and accompany us on an atmospheric SUP session at Bangor Marina. Illuminated by the Full Moon it is a sight to behold and there is no better setting to take in the event than on the water.
August: Blue Moon
August 30’s full moon is called a Blue Moon because it’s the second in the same month. The name is an expression describing something that rarely happens (like the saying “once in a blue moon”). In other words, the full moon will not appear blue in color. It will, however, appear much larger than most other full moons.
We will get kitted up and you will receive a safety brief. The guides will take you through the basics required for paddling and we will head out onto the water to practice before heading on a short journey.
