Kids Easter Activity Scheme ⭐️
We are happy to announce we will be running Easter Schemes over the Easter Holidays at Antrim Loughshore.
Times & Dates:
12th-14th April
The scheme will run 0930-1530 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Early
drop off our late pick up can be arranged for an additional fee).
Sessions will run from 1000-1200 and then 1300-1500 with lunch
1200-1300.
Activities:
There will be at least one wet activity per day. These will be:
– Kayaking (sit on top kayaks)
– Paddleboarding
– Mammoth 18ft Sup Board (our GIANT SUPs that hold 8-10 kids, we have
2!)
There will also be wet weather alternatives, land based
activities/team games to start or round off the day.
The course will be facilitated by our highly qualified, experienced
and enthusiastic instructors. Each holds qualifications or certifications
in:
– Kayaking
– Paddleboarding
– Advanced First Aid
– Water Safety & Rescue
– Safeguarding
There will be at least 2 guides each day but more likely 3, to allow
for a more safe and enjoyable environment for our guides as well as the
participants.
Active Adventures NI is an accredited activity provider under several
National Governing Bodies including the Academy of Surfing
Instructors, British Canoe Union and the Royal Life Saving Society.
We are also covered by Public Liability Insurance to £10 million
pounds.
Further information:
– We are collaborating with the Boathouse Restaurant in the Gateway
Centre to have access to their premises and they are happy to provide
warm food and shelter each lunch time. This will be built into the
package price but works out at approx £5 per person per day so £15
for the duration of the scheme.
– Photographs and video footage will be taken throughout the week and
made available afterwards for no cost.
– If you sign up there will be waiver forms to be filled in and we
will gather some further info such as medical issues, tshirt sizes,
permission for photography etc.
